About Us

When looking for elder care for family, Senior Partners founder Christina Curtis-Bickmore co-founded one of Utah County’s first Residential Care Centers for 24-hour senior board and care. The goal was to provide a beautiful and gracious home-like alternative to being placed in a nursing home setting.

Later as she sat on an Ad-Hoc committee for the Utah Department of Health which developed the state’s first Assisted Living category of licensing rules, the goal was also to create an environment that felt home-like and was warm and inviting in contrast to the currently skilled nursing centers, which followed a more institutional medical model of care.

For the past 33 years, she has been hearing this same lament from her clients: “I promised my mom (dad) that I would never put her (him) in a nursing home.”

Even as a nursing home administrator she continued to hear this same promise repeated by grieving family as they felt guilty that they could no longer provide the assistance their relative needed to remain at home.

This deeply embedded desire by so many to remain at home as they age or require care is what has driven her decision to start a personal care agency.

As the owner of Senior Partners, Christina brings her years of experience in elderly care into the homes of families and elders who wish to retain the highest quality of life possible. She now assists in designing optimum service plans for seniors desiring to remain safely in their own home or a less restrictive care setting for as long as possible.
