Our Story:
When looking for elder care for family, Senior Partners founder Christina Curtis-Bickmore co-founded one of Utah County’s first Residential Care Centers for 24-hour senior board and care. The goal was to provide a beautiful and gracious home-like alternative to being placed in a nursing home setting.
Later as she sat on an Ad-Hoc committee for the Utah Department of Health which developed the state’s first Assisted Living category of licensing rules, the goal was also to create an environment that felt home-like and was warm and inviting in contrast to the current skilled nursing centers, which followed a more institutional medical model of care.
